Google Slides is a free, cloud-based presentation tool from Google.
Access it via https://slides.google.com or through Google Drive.
Click “Blank” or choose a template to start a presentation.
Slides are made up of individual pages where you can add content like text, images, and videos.
Lesson 2: Creating and Formatting Slides
Click “+” to add a new slide; choose different layouts (title, image, two-column, etc.)
Type directly into text boxes or insert new ones using the Insert menu
Format text using font, size, bold, italics, color, and alignment from the toolbar
Insert images, shapes, videos, charts, and tables
Use Themes on the right panel to apply professional designs easily
Lesson 3: Animations, Transitions & Multimedia
Use Insert > Video or Audio to add media from YouTube or Google Drive
Select an object or text, then click Insert > Animation to apply effects
Add slide transitions under Slide > Transition
Use animations to control how elements appear during your presentation
Lesson 4: Sharing and Presenting
Click “Share” to add collaborators by email
Set permission levels: Viewer, Commenter, Editor
Use the Present button to run your slides full-screen
Present remotely via Google Meet or Zoom by sharing your screen
Google Slides automatically saves all your work to the cloud
